Challenge
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia needed to streamline their email marketing efforts across campus. Individual departments were using a variety of methods and vendors for sending email and the result was varied campaign performance and adherence to branding guidelines. Due to their diverse user set the University was in need of an email solution that would protect the institution’s brand and be easy for use by individuals with varying levels of technology and email marketing knowledge. While it was important that the application create professional HTML messages with tracking capabilities to facilitate follow up efforts, it was equally important that this application was appropriate for use in multiple departments simultaneously.
Solution
DemandEngine worked with the University to provide an enterprise email marketing solution. DemandEngine conducted
on-campus and online training with the day-to-day users of the application and provided continued support for each participating
department.
Result:
University of the Sciences has added multiple departments users of the DemandEnterprise solution since they started working with DemandEngine in early 2007. Through continued training and a dedicated account manager providing ongoing support, the University has made significant progress toward systemizing their email marketing efforts across campus.
