DemandEngine Announces New Associate Consultants
Current Continuing Education Practitioners Will Support Demand for Enrollment Marketing Consulting
(SAVANNAH, GA January 14, 2010) - DemandEngine, an enrollment marketing consulting and services firm dedicated to higher education, announced the addition of two new associate consultants. Current higher education practitioners, Stephanie Platteter (University of Minnesota) and Lesley Snyder (University of North Carolina-Charlotte) will deliver services to support the needs of enrollment marketers.
“Given changing demographics and the growing importance of professional and continuing education, our business is increasingly supporting enrollment managers focused on adult-learners,” said Tim Copeland, managing partner of DemandEngine. “As experienced practitioners, Stephanie and Lesley bring a wealth of experience in professional, graduate, and continuing education, and we are excited to have them as part of our team.”
As Director of Marketing at the University of Minnesota-College of Continuing Education, Stephanie Platteter transformed the organization to better align recruiting and marketing efforts and optimize the use of technology to support enrollment goals.
Her understanding of higher education marketing coupled with years of corporate experience has enabled her to build a learner-centric organization at UM’s College of Continuing Education.
Lesley Snyder is the Director of Program Development and Marketing in the Office of Continuing Education at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She implemented a comprehensive branding strategy for one consistent style across all departmental marketing efforts including web, email, direct mail, and print campaigns with defined metrics and specific enrollment goals.
An email marketing expert, Snyder was recognized by MarketingSherpa, a research firm focusing on marketing measurement, with a 2008 Gold Award for email performance.
DemandEngine consulting offering includes enrollment marketing assessments, and constituent relationship management (CRM) and interactive marketing strategy. “The number of communication channels, technologies, and marketing tactics that are available today are adding complexity to over-burden enrollment staffs,” Copeland commented. “By having a clear understanding of where you are today, where you want to go, and then being clear about how you will get there can help enrollment professionals prioritize investments and demonstrate real return-on-investment. Because our team is made up of current and former higher education practitioners, our consulting services are pragmatic and actionable.”
