DemandEngine to Participate in Georgia Apply to College Week
(SAVANNAH, GA October 29, 2009) - DemandEngine, an interactive enrollment marketing consulting and services firm, announced today that staff members will volunteer as a part of Georgia Apply to College Week, November 9-13, 2009. DemandEngine staff members will volunteer at Bryan County High School in Pembroke, Georgia, and will be on hand to assist almost 100 seniors as they complete their applications to colleges and universities.
“We applaud the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Foundation of Independent Colleges, Georgia Student Finance Commission, the Technical College System of Georgia, and the University System of Georgia for continuing this valuable program,” said Tim Copeland, managing partner of DemandEngine. “Increasing access to higher education, especially for first generation college students, is a valuable endeavor and we are pleased to support this initiative.”
DemandEngine staff members, Kelly Jones, Jade Murphy, and Ashley Wall, will assist students as they submit online applications using GeorgiaCollege411. Forty-five high schools across the state will participate in this event.
